Breakaway switch install

I installed a new breakaway switch:

Everything seems to work fine, but now my brake controller does not have the green light on. This light has always been on in the past when AS is plugged in:

Everything appears to work fine. I completely disconnected the switch and the green light is still gone on the controller.

Any ideas?

More info:

The Brake controller is Reese Brakeman. The black wire does send 12v to the trailer via the trailer plug when turned on. Here's some info from their website, but I'm not sure what to test:

No Green LED with trailer connected.

The Envoy needs to have a complete circuit on the blue wire to the brake magnets then to ground to turn the Green LED on. Possible causes: •Trailer not connected properly or completely.
•No power on the Black wire of control.
•Poor or no ground on the White wire of the control.
•Open in the electric brake wire.
•Open in ground wire of brake circuit.
•Tow vehicle and trailer mis-wired.
•Power back feed on the Blue wire.
•Faulty control.

I found the 30amp fuse under the hood that controls the Trailer Tow Battery Charge. It had been blown. I assume this happened when I installed the break away switch.

If you did not disconnect the battery when changing the breakaway switch, and blew a fuse on the controller, you may have blown a fuse/dc breaker in the Airstream downstream from the switch. Are the brakes getting power when you pull the switch?

Yes. Brakes work from the truck and the breakaway switch. ...but no green light on the controller. I'm going to take it out for drive tomorrow and see what happens.

If in your test, you find the controller is controlling the brakes, then the only thing I can think of is that maybe the short that blew the fuse also fried the LED... but I do not know if that is possible. I'm in over my head. Good luck.

Pulled the AS today. It all appears to be fine. Brakes on the trailer work perfect ....but still no green light on the controller. I'm not going to worry about it. If a problem develops, I'll post it.
