brake SQUEAL

is it normal for my 2008 Classic hydraulic disc brakes to squeal so darn loud? (garbage truck at 5 am loud)

doesn't matter if they warm up-- they squeal all the time.

service checked 'em and said they're perfectly fine, squealing can't be helped.

I've never had a vehicle with squealy brakes. ever.

If the unit has been setting for a while the brakes may squeal until the rust is of the rotors. Other than that the brakes should not be making the amount of noise you described. Have you contacted Airstream Customer Service 937 596 6111 ext.7257 or ext.7409

Many times on auto disk brakes the squeal is caused by a vibration btw the piston and the back side of the pad. NAPA has stuff you can paint on the back of the pads, let it dry and re-install. I have an old Volvo, used to squeal all the time. The brake stuff worked. Now when you buy new pads for most cars they include a thin metal shim that goes btw the piston and the pad and it is there to stop the squeal. I'd try the brake squeak stuff or see if with new pads they include the shim. Either way you will have to pull the pads so might as well change them if they close to being worn out.
