Brake Drum Removal

I'm working on the brakes on our 99' Bambi and can't seem to get the brake drum off. I've removed the dust cover, then the snap ring and spring, then the zertz disc. Now I'm at the nut with the cotter key. But to remove the cotter key I think the heavy steel cylinder that the dust cover sits on must be removed. Does anyone out there know how to remove that cylinder?

Sounds like you have bearing buddies or the like.

You didn't need to remove the snap ring, spring or zerk fitting.

The "heavy steel cylinder" just needs to be tapped with a mallet to walk it off.
