Brake controller side by side comparison

Has anyone ever seen a side by side comparison of brake controllers? It would be nice to take a look before committing to one brand over another....

I've found two on the web, this one by Hensely who of course is wanting you to buy theirs, and another one in Truck Trend . Go to page 4 of the article to cut to the chase.

I went with a Tenkonsha P3 for the Titan only because I got it for under $100 with sales and rebates. I would have bought the Prodigy again (went with the Pathfinder when I sold it) had it been significantly less money. My take on P3 is a fancy Prodigy plus you can choose electric or hydraulic braking depending on your trailer brakes.

That is a complete comparison of the Electronic Brake Controlers but it left out the best controler on the market today. The Jordan controler is the only controler that is directely connected the the brake system and working in much the same way as the old hydrolic system did.

This direct connection is more important on trailers with 3 or more axles. In thes systems once the brakes on the trailer are activated thier braking feed back becomes part of the input to the controler and thus can effect some electronic controlers.

I have used several electronic controlers once hydrolics were out of the question and would never consider them again once I used a Jordan. This is a truely proportional system.
