Brake controller.....

I recently was in Yellowstone. We left there to go to Jackson hole wy. Took the road down thru Idaho and across the highest pass to save a few hours over driving down thru the park.(not best idea). Controller went out approx a third of the way down. It still worked with the touch pad. I was able to get down slowly. Any way to get to the point I had a spare controller in the trailer. I replaced it the next morning. Always carry a spare controller even if you have an on board controller. Get a harness and keep a spare. We were miles from a dealer that could have fixed a factory on board unit.

Good idea. I do have another controller but have never thought of taking it on the road.
