Blinking Prodigy Brake Controller.

Hi Everyone.

lately my Prodigy brake controller has been blink at me when no brake is applied. I tried to clean the contacts on the Bargman cable and the plug but that as not helped.

If I use the manual brake lever under the controller, it does seem that the brakes engage.

Anyone have any idea as to what might the issue? Is this some kind of warning the brakes are worn?

Thanks.

Jonathan

AL- reading the instructions was the first thing I did. Thanks for your help.

ALANSD- Brake control module is positioned where it has been for the last 11 years, but maybe I'll take a closer look.

The people at Prodigy were stumped. My Interstate g24 batteries are in less than excellent shape- four years old. Trying to finish season with them. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, especially since this happens when hooked up and power is coming from TV.

After 11 years I think next spring I will be driving to local AS dealer for first service ever, have them check this out and get some new tires. I am running the originals Goodyear Maratthons. Never had a problem with them, they hold pressure all season. So I'm probably one of the few that wouldn't hesitate to replace them with the same again.
