1956 airstream bubble electric brakes

Hi Everybody.
I am after some help with my bubbles electric brakes.They are hadco eng 412N.They are approx. 12".

I have not pulled them apart yet, but I was wondering if they are still serviceable and if parts are available or if there is a bolt on kit to replace them.

The van is light and does not require them for registration but I thought maybe use them if there there.

The reason I ask is that I have the shell off and I am painting the chassis and I thought it is no use painting the brakes if I was going to get rid of them.

Hi Dave....Both my 56 Bubbles had Hydraulic brakes. They made wonderful scrap junk. I think you will find it better, by far, and cheaper, by far, to just upgrade to modern electric brakes and hubs. How 'bout pictures of the Bubble. We have to stick together.
