Talking Whitewall Tires

After reading all that was written about tires I thought I would share my experience.
After one week of being online and on the phone with every distributor around Arizona I thought I was going to have to give up. Finally, the last person that I could call had 24 225/75 15's cooper st load range "D" with the white stripe (as close to a whitewall as you can get)

http://www.mastercrafttires.com/ltsuv.asp?id=178

Yes, this is close to the 4 that I bought, (Cooper makes the Mastercraft) Yes, they are still on the website, but they are no longer made. In fact no one still makes one that I know of.

I called or emailed

Coker - they tried, good guys

Michelin - they make every other tire known to man, except trailer tires in this size

Goodyear - no more whitewalls made

Bridgestone - no longer made whitewalls

Other various companies - no whitewalls

Cooper - called me back after a day and said that they had recently discontinued making them. (Mine were dated April 2002) So who has them? I know your dying to find out!

Superior Tire
1990 Highway 95
Bullhead City, AZ 86442
(928) 763-5995

Now down to 20 that I know of

The bad news $119.99 each.

Anyone else that finds some let me know
