Where's the Spare?

We have a 1976 Caravanner that we have had for a whopping 4 days! Where do you put the spare tire? How much do the 15" 6 lug rims cost, average? Where do you get them? Dianne

Most coaches with spares had a rack under the front A-frame, just under the front of the body. Inland sells OEM replacement wheels, if you want, you can get a spoke-type steel wheel with the proper offset and weight rating, from Redneck Trailers.

I purchased my wheels from Southwest Wheel in Dallas for less than $50 each. The spare on my Liner is going under the front of the trailer between the frame rails.

Bill how will you be mounting your spare with a cable and crank setup or what? Ed

I have a truck so I carry my spare in the back if I am using my 77 that does not have a tire rack. The 63 came with a spare mounted behind the gass bottles.
