Where to find bias ply

Does anyone know a good place to find bias ply trailer tires on the web? No one seems to have them. Obviously they have fallen out of favor. I have been running Power King 700-15 load range D bias ply for some time now with no problems whatsoever. I know I'm going to catch a lot of flak for this but I also know what I want. Thanks to all

It is your trailer to outfit as you please. Have you checked with Tire Rack. At one time they still had them.

You might try tractor supply. I think they carry Hi-Run brand in both radial and bias ply

If I may:

You can replace a 7.00-15 with an ST225/75D15 of the same Load Range, the only thing you need to be aware of is that the ST needs 0.3" more clearance between the tire and the trailer. That's not likely enough to worry about, but it should be checked.

Here's the math:

7.00-15LT: Width = 8.0" on a 5.5" rim with an allowable rim width range of 5.0" to 6.5". Overall diameter = 29.6" with a load carrying capacity of 1710# at 45 psi (Load Range C)

ST225/75D15: Width = 8.8 on a 6.0" rim (8.6" on a 5.5" rim) with an allowable rim width range of 6.0" to 7.0". Overall diameter of 28.3", with a load carrying capacity of 2150# at 50 psi (Load Range C).

Does anyone know what LT tires fit on a 2005 safari? And can I use the factory wheels?

Carlisle Tire has upgraded their Sport Trail LH line of tires (bias ply). Discount Tire is one of their major retailers.

Some interesting sizes including LRE and LRF tires. Normally bias ply ST tires are not manufactured above LRD.
