"TURK123" mentions steel valve stems. I asked the CanAm people for metal valve stems to hold my NVision tire senders. I was told that they had none to fit the AS wheel and could find none. I didn't worry too much about it, as the sensors were very close to the wheel and just rested against the wheel when underway.
That is: until the monitor 'crapped-out' AGAIN. This time, big time.
I do not have kind thoughts about this TPMS. again.
Are there any TPMs that do work?

My TST system has worked for over 2 years as advertised. Nothing special about Airstream wheels. You should be able to find metal valve stems at any tire shop.

We continue to be generally happy with our TST TPMS with the flow-through sensors and a repeater on the trailer. One cautionary note though: So far we've broken a couple of the sensors by banging them with (1) a torque wrench and (2) a curb. When that happens, it's quite easy to get a flat in no time because the sensor leaks air after it's been bent / broken. So, maybe next time we'll get internal sensors.

Our TST monitoring system works as advertised and glad we have it.

We purchased our new 2007 Safari SE 20 seven years ago and after reading about the high failure rate of its Good Year Marathon tires, we got a TPMS to "protect" us from their failure.

Two years later we traded for a 2012 FC 25 and realized if the GYM tires are the reliability problem, we should spend our money on better tires, not TPMS. Rather than buying another set of sensors for the TPMS, we put the money towards 16" wheels and Michelin tires. After selling the GYM's and 15" wheels, the upgrade cost us $1,000. Three years and we still have not added TPMS, and the issues they sometimes come with.

If your money is limited, I would recommend it be spent on high quality tires rather than TPMS to begin with, then decide if you really need trailer tire TPMS.

Per our post above, we disagree with that approach, preferring to add TPMS first, but glad it worked well for you.
