I have the same compressor for the road $39.95 on sale minus 20% w/coupon. I also have a compact 12volt for no AC power camping or side of the road.

Spare tire placement

When I was checking my spare tire pressure on my 2007 Bambi the tire is mounted with the valve up so I had to drop the tire to check the pressure. The spare on my TV is mounted the same way. Before I turn these over to make it easier to check pressures is there a reason for this? Is it a way to protect the valve from damage?

We do the same. This approach works for us too.

Here's one example. It's the one we use, though there are several other brands.

The sensors: TST 507 Flow Thru -
and the repeater: TST 507 Repeater -

Oh, and we bought an extra sensor so we could monitor the spare tire.

If we had it to do over again, we might have gone with internal sensors vs. these external ones.

Tire pressures

For $300 I can still check the pressure manually. Thanks for the information thought.

Fair point, though it was only a few bucks for an extra sensor. We primarily use the TPMS to monitor our trailer tires while towing. That's another thread, though.
