Wheels and Tires for a 1960 28' Ambassador

I have an ambassador that is out of town and I am wanting to buy a new set of wheels and tires to put on the trailer when I pick it up in a very remote location. Would anyone know a source and sizes for the wheels and tires?

is a source for OEM trailer wheels and wheels. You can also probably get the wheels thru your local NAPA store via Redneck Trailer Supply.

The wheels are 15 inch with 6 holes on a 5 1/2 bolt circle. They should be at least a 2600 pound rating, nothing less.

The tires we suggest are the Goodyear Marathons, ST225/75R15.

You can use 6 ply if you wish. Your can also use 8 ply for additional safety, since the wheels will be new.

Should you decide on the 8 ply tires, inflating them to about 55 psi would be adequate for your Airstream.

Would you suggest that I buy new wheels and tires together and take them to the site for moving? I think it would be easier...also, what kind of pricing would a set of four be?

I spoke to you about a year ago about my airstream. you were extremely helpful.
