What do you know about this brand tire?

I have been reading the tire failure post and decided to do a search on other travel trailer tires. I came up with the following name brand. Do any of you guys have any "info" on their quality?

The LOADSTAR Karrier ST radial

Utility & Boat Trailer Tires / Aluminum, Galvanized & Painted Trailer Wheels

2007 Dodge Ram Quadcab 6.7L Diesel w/jakebrake

That tire is made by Kenda. Here is there web site:
Here is the answer I got when I was searching for a tire better than the Marathon. Replys like this one drove me to go to 16 inch wheels and LT tires.

Hi ,

The trailer tires all designed for speed rating at 65 mph. Lots of people towing at much higher speed is not what tire manufacturer recommended.

The consideration of upgrading to 16" tire seems related to loading capacity issue instead of speed rating issue. As far as I know, there's no 16" tire has same loading capacity with same OD as 15" tire. Even if it has that most likely will be a LT tire not the trailer tire. You will having the risk of using LT tire or pay more for people make the reinforced LT tire to be fit for trailer application.

We will have a 10P ST225/75R15 tire at 2830 lbs capacity available soon if that's what you need.

Hope this help!

Hank Chang

If you want a 10 ply rated ST 225 75R 15 tire, Maxxis has an E rated model. I'll get mine Sunday and will get them mounted next week.
