TST TPMS is dead

Without any warning of low battery life, my system died. I changed out all four batteries in the sensors on the tires and still dead. I confirmed the TV 12v plugs are good. I bought this about 14 months ago.

Any ideas on the problem or solution?

Thanks, John

My year old TST monitor went dead. It was first suggested that I change the sensor batteries and that did not solve the problem - those batteries are expensive so I'll use the older ones again. Anyway I contacted the company and they sent me a new monitor right away. They only asked that I return the bad one with I did. Sounds like there may be a bad batch out there. Good luck

It is another story, but my TST system really saved our butts on a 11K mile trip this spring out west. I was very happy to have made the purchase.

I had a failure after a few months, monitor would not work on battery power. Worked ok on 12V

TST sent me a replacement to my next campsite right away

Turned out the battery in the monitor was dead and would not charge.

We don't have that brand of TPMS, but we did recently have trouble with an upgraded receiver... it was faulty and did not get power by any means, using different power cords. That was resolved b y retruning it for another. THEN we continued to have trouble ...losing the signal repeatedly. i was about to chuck the whole thing but decided to try a different power cord. Bingo! Turns out the power cord we were using was faulty! Switched to a another and no problems since. One more thing you can check before you pull out your hair. I like easy solutions like that.
