Tpms

Went to COSTO yesterday to inquire about having TPMS senders installed in my stream to be compatible with my F250 which has in dash system for truck monitors and four blanks for an attached trailer (part of trailer package).
I was told that they would not install the sensors in “used” tires (2019 Airstream with 8K miles). I have considered doing it myself or going to an independent tire shop with my four mounted tires and have them installed and bubble balanced
IF COSTCO will sell me the sensors. Has anyone had experience and advice for this situation? Thanks.

Any reputable tire shop can do this for you. If Costco will not sell them to you, (do not see why they wouldn't) you can get a set from your Ford dealer.

A word of caution, either take the wheels off the trailer yourself, using the proper jacking procedure, or make certain the tire shop jacks the trailer up in the right place. My experience here is don't just tell them and expect them to follow your instructions, stand next to them while they are doing it to ensure they do it right. Jacking in the wrong place can cause considerable damage.
