I am sure this is covered someplace - but what is the best or recommended tire pressure monitoring system?

Thanks,

I bought the EezTire Tire Pressure Monitoring System with 4 Sensors on the recommendation of other forum members. System works great! A little tricky to setup; however, I would still purchase again.https://www.amazon.com/EEZTire-Tire-.../dp/B009BE069Q

Best? Impossible to answer unless someone has experience with every system produced. Many here do happily use the TST system. It you go to the section where you posted your question you will many threads on this subject.

The best is PressurePro and it's made in the USA. They hold the patent and lead the world in TPMS by a long shot. Actually headed to their facility in Harrisonville, MO tomorrow for a conference. The Legend series is the most popular but the new Pulse is now available as well. Has a few more features and naturally cost more than the Legend.

I really like the Dill internal Trailer TPMS. A TIRE Rack has them.

I agree it is not possible to establish which is best without someone like Consumers reprts having done a thorough comparison.

I am happy enough with the Hawkshead system i bought quite a few years ago. I like teh fact that I can easily replace the sensor batteries.

I have a Hawkshead system on my Airstream and also on my motorcycle.

Seems reliable but takes a while to start up when I begin a trip - maybe 10-15 minutes.

I've got the EezTire system on my TV and AS - 8 sensors in all. I've had to fuss with it, but it seems to be reporting pressure and temp. One issue I'm working through is it seems to be reading 2-3 psi higher than the three gauges I've been checking my tires with. The EezTire customer service reps are sending a new monitor so I can run them side by side. I like the system and hope to resolve this issue.

Funny thing is I have never heard of them. But that really means very little in the scheme of things.

Signal Booster?

Has anybody found the need for a signal booster? I've read a booster might be needed with an aluminum skin trailer.

Best TPMS?

WHo is going to suggest a brand other than what they bought to be the "best"? To do so would imply they were not smart buyer.

I suggest you compare features such as service and warranty. What settings can you program yourself and can the user change batteries, do you need powewr cord across the dash to power the monitor.

Then you might find which unit is best for you.
