The wheel I chose is what Airstream puts on the Eddie Bauer (black inlay) and new Classic 30 (silver inlay). My Classic 30 is a 2013. They began putting 16" wheels on them in 2015.
These wheels are optional on all Airstream trailer 25' and longer through dealer production orders.

Sendel T03 16' 6 lug silver inlay- was originally looking at the black inlay like the Eddie Bauer trailers, but the Classics have the silver inlay-
Airstream has been cranking out 50 trailers a week for a long time- production is up to 65 trailers per week and they are expanding the factory. That is almost 50's, 60's, and 70's production levels.
All those wheels are at the Airstream factory, but the wheel tire combo is $685.40 + shipping through an Airstream dealer!
Some Amazon sellers have them in stock, but at double the price of recstuff.
Maybe I should order and wait.

Volumes have been up quite a bit this year. This being the first year in a long time with fuel costs this low people are using their trailers more and have been buying quite a few.

All the wheels that would work for my trailer are out of stock at recstuff. I guess the factory is behind on production because Airstream uses these wheels on new trailers.
Should I order the wheels, wait, and pray that my old tires don't pop before the wheels and new tires get here?

I know you said a DTC is not in your area. Here in California they are America's Tire Store. I see a DTC in Southaven that shows to be about 100 miles each way for you but it might be worth it.

My Sendel's through America's Tires were $100 each including the shipping they charged me to the store. It took 2-3 weeks to get here. The Michelins I got (LTX M/S2 225/75R16) were $178 each.

Everything before tax was just over $1300. Add on $130 in rebate cards and no interest for 9 months and I felt it was a good deal.

I had them put them on the trailer but persuaded them not to use their floor jack but use my Trailer Aid ramp.

I am very happy with things.

I have almost the identical package as switz - Sendel T03 wheels, Michelin tires, Centramatics, and Dill TPMS, all purchased from my local DTC about 18 months ago. They mounted the tires and I took them home and put them on the trailer. DTC dismounted my old tires for free and I sold the wheels for $200. All in I think I paid around $2K for 5 wheels and the Dill system with 6 transmitters, minus the $200 I got for the wheels. I sent two or three of the wheels back before mounting for finish flaws. I still got filiform corrosion on them. I'm going to try buffing it off and treating with Corrosion-X when I get the trailer back to the house from storage in a few weeks. If you don't yet have filiform corrosion, do something to prevent it - wax, sealer, Corrosion-X or ???

I got the Sendels last week. I had to special order them through their supplier.

We bought our Sendel wheels from America's Tire, which is the same company as Discount Tires. The wheels were a special order as they don't carry them nor list them as stock items. We also special ordered Michelin Rib tires to go with the Sendel wheels and everything arrived within about a week of ordering.

America's Tire website is the same as Discount Tire. Both sites direct me to Discount Tire Direct. When I search by size it has zero results. When I call the only option is Raceline 870 Trailer, a decent looking wheel with 3,200# weight carrying capacity.
I specifically want the Sendels T03 to keep it as original or stock looking as possible. Another option is Sendels T02 or Hispec that look like Sendels- Thoughts? Opinions? Anyone use Hispec?
Otherwise I will just wait till 9/20 or 10/1 or whenever for the Sendels from recstuff.com- the best price and recommended by Sendel-

As I noted earlier in the thread, I've got the T03 Sendel wheels with the black, like the Eddie Bauer's. I ordered the wheels, caps AND lug nuts from Tredit in Elkhart In. Here's a copy of the receipt with the prices that I paid a few years ago. This might help some of you. Note I did order a spare tire wheel. This is not a Sendel wheel but is an exact match for the wheel that Airstream was including with the spare tire.
