When I pull my trailer, Pillows come off the couch, drawers open and everything looks like its been rattled around.
I believe that our wheels etc should be balanced for safty.
I had planned on having Andy balance me up but then decided to put on Disc brakes and get tire upgrades. However I'm going on a 2000 trip before I could put the new discs and tires on.
So I ordered my dyna beads and installed them today.
Here's the challenge part. Will my coushins be on the floor or my drawers self opened and will everything else have that mix master look?

I'll let you know in a week.
Airstream uses such cheap door slides and closures that you may never be able to keep things closed. We now use velcro straps to keep several of our drawers closed.
One of our big wall mirrors also fell off the wall because Airstream only used adhesive tape to secure it -- it was bound to fall off, and it did.
As far as your running gear -- personally, I would have had Andy do his balancing act on them -- but good luck with your dyna beads.
Oh, and why not just put everything on the floor in the first place?

How difficult was it to install the Dyna Beads. I have new tires and wheels that were lug centric balanced, new shocks also, none of which has been installed yet. Really thinking about the beads but hate to take the tires back and have them broken down again.
Did you install the beads through the valve with the tool they also sell...?
I had wheels balanced (I have aftermarket mags) using tape weights on the inside only (it doesn't look cool if the mag has weights visible does it?). I do not have the problem you are experiencing. The balance job works well and I'd never put a wheel on anything going down the highway without a proper balance. But that's just me - it took me a lot of years to learn that lesson.
It will be interesting to hear how your solution works.

Gary,
I just put the dyna beads in my Goodyear Marathon tires. I tried the plastic bottle/clear tubing on the valve stem with the tire still on the trailer at the 6 o'clock position. It took a long time even placing a vibrating sander against the tubing. One tip, the bare pad actually started melting the tubing from friction. I took the next 3 tires off the trailer one by one, placed a chunk of 4"X4" wood under the 12 o'clock position and screwed the tubing onto the valve stem. I found that one of the small funnels from my gardening ph test kit actually imparted a spin on the beads and helped force them down the tubing faster than placing the plastic bottle nipple into the tubing. If I timed it right, the beads did not get clogged in the valve stem, otherwise I had to just thump the stem repeatedly with one of my fingers. Tires filled right back up without a problem and are not losing air. I should get a chance to check out how well the dyna beads do next weekend. This weekend I am installing my third solar panel if I can get some help from one of my kids.

Hi, the only thing that moves inside of my trailer is the mattress; Everything else stays in place. This only happens when we hit rough roads. You may have a real balance problem.
