Question tire pressure

Subject: Tire inflation. I just replaced my airstream tires after 7 years. I replaced them with Cooper ST. My old tires were load range C. The new tires are load range D. My question is? How much air should I put in them? The tires are marked maxium 65 lbs. The old tires were max 50 lbs. I read somewhere to inflate according to the weight of the trailer. My concern is that if I inflate the new tires to the maximum that the trailer and everything in it is going to bounce really hard. But , I also know that under inflation is harmful to the tires. Any suggestions???

Inflate the tires to 50psi.
That is what the trailer is supposed to have, any more will cause a problem with rough-riding, like broken dishes, fixtures shaken loose, etc.
Also, somewhere on these forums I have seen a thread about load range D tires put where load range C tires were, inflated to full pressure causing problems with the rims.
