Wink Tire Problems

Hi all,
Two weeks ago we went to Carlsbath Caverns from Tucson Az. On the way my curb side back tire blew out. The tires are only 3 years old and are 6 ply and garaged all the time.
It did not damage the wheel well, but by the hot water heater it put some dings in it. It also ate the front tire, The front tire looked like itwas put on the grinder. This time I bought 10 ply tires.
My question is how do you get into the area behind the wheel well? Does anyone have any experiance of repairing that area? Please let me know.
Tomorrow I am going to jack up the trailer and take the wheels off for better look and see.
The worst part was changing the tire on Highway 10 with all the truck and no schoulder to get the trailer off the road. That was an 6 pack experiance after we got into Las Cruses N.M.
Regards to all from Russell in sunny and warm Tucson Az.:br ows:

On my '77 Excella 500 31' after a rear tire blowout which bent the outrigger, tore out insulation and dented in the rear lower panel, I removed the blue insert in the lower rub rail then started drilling out rivets from the back end where the streetside rail meets the curbside rail. I worked forward until I was just past the lower panel which needed to be replaced. I went to Lowe's and bought .024 aluminum panel and cut the piece to fit. I drilled through where the rubrail holes were after the panel was put in place. When through, it looked like it came from the factory.
