Safety Information

Safety information is the very best thing about this forum. Safety information that is not readily available elsewhere that could save lives or at the least someone’s rig. I understand that most tires sold in the United States are now manufactured overseas. Given the recent recalls from everything from toys to toothpast. I would feel more comfortable knowing that the tires I purchase were made in the good ole U. S. A.
Does anyone know which tires are still made and for sale here.

Thanks Gary for the quick reply. I will check it out.
Is anyone else out there concerned about the quality of tires manufactured outside the States? Or am I just too concerned. Give me your feedback on whether you run them or not.

Rivet Cooper Tires

Cooper makes a load range D trailer tire. Cooper Tires - Custom Trailer Plus - Special Trailer Tires

With the exception of one facility in England, all their facilities are in the US. Cooper Tires - Facilities

Cooper in general has an excellent reputation, but I cannot comment on these specific tires.
