remcolent,
I have been told, the replacement to 7.00X15 is 225X75X15 radial. Goodyear Marathons are the best. You need to find a tire that is specific for trailers. Auto tires will not be sufficient. Hope this helps. You might be able to find a Michelin 7.00"R" X 15 radial in Europe. I saw one vintage trailer last summer that had them. I checked at home and our local Michelin dealer just rolled his eyes. I took that as a "No."

ST225/75R15 in the same load range you have on your trailer. Should be load range C for your smallish two axle trailer. Here is the URL of a Cooper tire dealer in the Netherlands, that should be able to help you. http://www.interstate.nl/
Good luck in the hunt!

Last summer, we purchased Yokohama 7.00 x R15s.

No. The 700 x 15 is approximately 1.5" taller than the 225 x 15. Many people like t he 700 because of this factor, it helps keeping the rear end from dragging on bad dips. The H78 15 is the same size as the 225's
