Remove 2 tires?
I need to put new tires on my Trade Wind. Would it be a problem to remove a tire from each side of the trailer for a few hours as the shop mounts the new ones? I could save myself a few trips this way. I do not want to take the trailer to the tire store and let them at it with their jacks and pneumatic guns.

No problem...that's one of the advantages of having a dual-axle trailer! I wouldn't drive around for long with only one wheel/tire per side but if you get a flat on one tire you can drive a short distance to get off the road or to a repair shop in an emergency. So just sitting there is absolutely no problem ~

That's what I thought. Tires are in the shop, check out the one on the right...

Our Argosy manual clearly states you can take off a tire and tow at low speed (45mph or below) to the next town for repairs. I have trouble dividing by zero... but just sitting there? You be o-tay!

My quess would be dry rot. The tires were seven years old and the last three were out here in the desert. I should have replaced them last year.

I going to just as you asked. But I thought what the heck why make two 24 mile round trips so I rolled the trailer up on one axle and removed those wheels. Then jacked up one of the remaining wheels, blocked it and removed it. So now I have 3 wheels plus the spare to take to Les Schwab. Of course the tire left on the coach was the one I planned for the future spare.

Mine? Oh, the tires. I agree, bad judgment on my part to let them go that long.
I only had to make two trips to Discount tire, one to drop off and one to pick up. Who knew they would be closed from noon until 3 PM on Good Friday? I left the spare on and one tire was replace a few months ago. I have switched from Carlies to Tow Masters, 7.00 X 15 D's.
Now to fix the sheet metal trim that bend...

Hey mine are older. However I have not had my bullet out for 3 years. I am using the black round things to keep the project up while it waits it's turn for the flooring rework.

Wow - I only promised those tires would last to the end of my driveway... - Course those tires I sold with the trailer were blow-out proof - you are on your own now....
Wait a second - I was next to you at the balloon rally - I would have been woken up out of my beauty sleep if those things ever blew....
Serious though - I plan to replace tires about every 3-4 years. You a lucky they didn't blow and tear up my - errr your trailer.
