I will be placing my order for new GYE tires this week to replace the Original GYM on my 2012 25 ft FC. I knew they were going to have to be replaced soon. The blowout I had just made the decision easier. Why GYE tires? I looked at others to include the Michelins but with new rims they were just to expensive and IMO with little additional advantage. The GYE gets good reviews and are based on everything I have read an improvement over the GYM. The one additional accessory I might add are new stainless stems.

Consider adding a TPMS. That’s important. You’ll need metal stems if you have the stem mounted sensors.

When I replaced the older tires, there was no noticeable treadwear and the tracking characteristics and stopping characteristics were outstanding.

No need to go to a 16" tire-you are just wasting money IMHO.

These tires are on all my trailers, especially the one which I use to haul my Great Pyrenees dogs to the kennel or vet.
Ditto, Ditto.
Besides I have yet to be able to load up my 30' classic to 10,000 lbs. Matter of fact I never get above 8,000. The same with the previous 30' international, never above 7,600 with tanks full.
