I agree with 2Airishuman, I used to race and used nitrogen for the same reason, but use good old air in the rest of my tires. Our MH has 275/80x 22.5 tires and mine hold 105 p.s.i and I don't have a problem with them losing air.

We use nitrogen only in both the GV (51K ceiling) and the C-130 and every other aircraft I've ever serviced. Biggest reasons is because its dry, non flammable, and minimum expansion with high heat, but the tires do loose pressure. I check or service them before every flight. My Globetrotter has nitrogen in the tires only because they were flat when I bought it and I had a small 3000 psi nitrogen bottle handy but no compressed air bottle.
Been running Nitrogen for 1.5 years now in my TV 05 Burb 3/4. Here in Florida they claimed better gas mileage. Dealer told me to bring by the AS when I pick it up in NJ. It would be a hassle finding a place to refill on the road. I am satisfied with its performance in the TV. To Be honest I do regular maintenance and I have not checked for loss of pressure. I will now when I start towing a Classic 31 across country!
