Michelins for 1975 Overlander

The tires on my 1975 Overlander 27' are 225 75 R15. I don't seem to be able to find that exact size Michelin Defender LTX M/S tire. They have 235. Thoughts? Love Michelin tires, want to go with them. Tirerack doesn't carry them for Trailer tires. Mmmmm... only Goodyear and some other brand I never heard of.

235 75 15 Defenders. Thats they way to go. Ours have served us well this past year. Ours is 1 2017 30 ft. I ASSUME you would have the space for the 235s

I went with these. Very heavy duty.

I put those on my 25', and they are great tires. Michelin does not make a "trailer" tire; but the LTX series are rated for light truck and are also fine for trailers. In fact, AS include the LT 16" on the high end Classic models. Tires are like which TV....all of us have opinions. Many of us are running Michelins and have had great service from the LT series on our AS's. The ride and performance is excellent. I got my last set from Discount Tire.

When I replace my GYM's this year, I will go with the LTX 235's on my 28'. You can double check with the dealer on the load for your specific tires to be sure that size is rated for your max load in the AS, but I am confident you will be fine.
