Michelin LT Raised Lettering: In or Out

Don't know if this has been discussed, looking for opinions. Raised white letters: IN or OUT?

Black wall out. They make white wall lettering for your favorite football team to go on tires

I'm afraid that the white raised letters out are reminiscent of a 1972 Plymouth Duster.

No

In fact, I was under the impression they didn't make them any more.

I think the White lettering detracts from the clean design of the trailer.

Michelin should offer a 20% discount to run them out.

Now that you mention it, I think I remember the DTC salesman saying that they were discontinuing the white lettering, when I got new tires for the truck a few months ago. Anyone else hear that?

Hey, thanks.
This late in the evening and I finally scored my word for the day. I had a good idea what it meant, but had to google it to be sure.

I wish raised white lettering would die. It seriously raises the cost of the tire. You have to imbed the white rubber and guard against bleed through, and you have to grind off the outer black rubber to get to the white after the tire is molded.

Interstateflyer chose the perfect word. The seventies called and they want their tacky tires and polyester shirts back.
