Actually, the last time I called them, folks at Airstream found this forum's obsession with eliminating ST tires to be puzzling and a bit pointless.
You see Rocinante you should be eating subs sammies in a walmart parking lot.
A simple call to,JC took care of my tires problems, and yes I am getting a set of 235's 108t at basically non cost from a AS dealer.
Don't even think to compare yourself or to thank guy's like AT or TOP in o
Our behfalf. My recommendation to you is to drive to the Mexican coast, maybe san Diego, since I m sure you are terrified to drive your AS across the border, drink a Corona and smoke a nice cigar. Time for you to close your thread and get your own damned tires. Like some other people here I am happy to get a tire that has a proven record from people that really matters on this forum, remember it is all about experience and and good results.

Another reason the 700-15 went away is that they were tube type not tubeless and who wants a tube type 23' avion came with steel wheels and G-78-15....-and steel wheels

They had tubes for the first couple of years but 7:00-15's were tubeless after 1973.

Thanks again, Andrew T.

Nice, FS. I don't compare myself to anyone or seek credit for anything. I simply sought information. I got the info I needed several hundred posts ago.

I'd actually been hoping this thread would stop for quite some time. Perhaps your approach will work better than mine.

BTW, we've already taken our TT over 13,000 trouble-free miles on our existing GYM tires. Just wanted to decide what tires to use next. That's all.
