Maxxis Tire Seperation

ST tires are only required ot be Speed Rated to 65 MPH.
No tire company (except for Cooper) has been willing to go the extra distance and produce a better tire.
Coopers marketing structure is what did those Custom Trailer plus tires in before they (the Custom Trailer Plus) could get a fair trial on the open road.
Next, I don't klnow where Buzzy4 gopt his information about R Speedrated Marathons but the goodyear sire still lists them as 65 MPH tires, SEE FOR YOURSELF.

What brochure or website did Buzzy4 get this information from?
Mine comes from Goodyear itself as you can see above in the link provided.

I got it from the Discount Tire website.

Tire Details - Discount Tire Co.

I have since found the max. 65 mph on the Goodyear website.

Al - K4GLU,

You are either very unlucky or you ride the curb side of the road.

I used to bicycle a lot. It is amazing how much junk is along the side of the road. You get to see it all when you are going 14-16mph.

I try to never ride the side of the road with the truck & trailer or any of my vehicles.

35-37,000 miles since 2003 on four LRC LT's, 40psi and four LRD marathon ST's, 65psi.
