Maxxis M8008 Going Away Rumor?

I saw a post on FB that Maxxis is discontinuing their ST M8008 tire. We have loved this tire for our Silver Otter. Can anyone verify this rumor?

I can't verify it, but I hope they do go away. Between myself and several friends, we sooner or later have had slipped belts on every Maxxis we have used.

We all use 16" Michelins now.
