No, they're not Firestones. That's what the PO advised me, but they are Omni Trails.

Before leaving Alaska this summer I tried to find a dealer to install a set of Michelins on the 'Stream but wasn't able to find anyone to do it. Out of time and not able to get the tires I wanted I went ahead with the GYM's. I watched them religiously and after putting 7,500 miles on them this summer have had no issues. They held every pound of pressure through the entire trip. I realize there are a lot of horror stories with these tires, but this is the second set of GYM's I've bought and to date have no complaints. Having said that, when I pull out of the driveway Monday, they will probably all fall apart at the same time

OK glad we cleared up that information. Can you provide the DOT serial? You would want to record that so you would know if your tires were covered if there was ever a recall. Also you will of course want to keep record of the Serial Date so you know the age of the tires.

With the full serial we can look up the actual plant/company that made these off brand tires.
