We rent a year-round space in a local campground and keep ours set up all the time. We spend most weekends in the summer there and can travel whenever we want (2 r 3 times a year for now, WAY more when we retire, but with this economy, that may be a while yet). They let us keep it on the site over the winter so we don't have to take it elsewhere and we can also take it out to travel in the winter if we catch a warm spell. This costs us about 1800 a year and includes full hookup from April through October.

Fly,
You've found the best forum folks in the country with a wealth of helpful information at your fingertips. I've certainly learned a lot from visiting this site from time to time. Great folks here.
Moss Creek isn't one I'm familiar with yet. What can you offer about it?

Cave storage sounds great

That sounds like a great place to store your trailer---you won't have to worry about tornados, hail, birds and other critters and you won't have to winterize......wish we had caves like that here in California.....but we have found an indoor storage place with valet park---no one will accidently back into our trailer....I am sure you can find a way to manage mold....it seems like an ideal solution to me.....

By the way, I was in one of those caves looking for my great great grandfather's probate records in Jackson County, MO......those records were in great shape....it was one of my more unusual geneaology adventures.....enjoy your new Airstream..welcome to the forums.....paula
