Save the Wheels!!
Hi Tinsel Loaf,
Something I learned in the mid-'60s (ouch!) is that to properly lock your wheels you should conside two locks per wheel. What this does, especially with the locks as opposite each other as possible, is reduce the possibility of a thief, upon discovering the locked wheel (one lock), take the other studs off and pull on the wheel to break the center section (sort of an, 'if I can't have it, you can't either!' mentality). With only one lug holding an aluminum wheel there is enough leverage opposite the locked stud to break the wheel. Using two per wheel reduces this probability.
Just a thought.
Take care,
