Jack placement for tire change

I assume my 1997 25 foot Safari should not be lifted with the jack under the axle. So, where is the correct placement for a bottle jack?? I see a "rolled" section of the frame that looks right but there is not a designation there for the jack. Suggestions.

You DO NOT need a jack to change a tire.

But, you do need a couple of 2 x 6's.

Pull the good tire up on the 2 x6's and change out the bad tire.

Those same 2 x 6's can be used to help level the trailer when on an incline.

Another option is to buy a set of 10 leveling blocks. They are like oversize Leggos -- you make a little pyramid of them with the middle 4 blocks deep and pull the good tire up on the top. Change the bad tire (or do brakes/bearings...) and roll it back off when you are done.

A whole lot safer than a jack, especially on the side of a road.

An added bonus is that you use the same blocks in various combinations to level your rig side to side.

I do have the plastic ramp for on the road but will be putting new tires all around and want to make sure the tire dealer does not do something dumb.

There is a plate that the axles are bolted to on each side of the trailer, and a floor jack will go between the two tires and jack up the trailer on that steel plate. I only caution you to not damage the tank cover located directly behind the plate, and to make sure the jack has good contact with the plate to insure it does not slide off.

Additionally, there is supposed to be a location behind the axles under the frame marked as a jack point, but after the trailer has been in use for just a little while, the marking seems to go away.
