Jack Placement

I am new owner trying to be prepared. I purchased a 6t bottle jack. I know the jack should not be placed where the manuel tells you to, but for the life of me I can not find the recent thread that says where to place jack. I leave tomorrow and I thank you all in advance for your help. I have a 2006 19' Bambi. Oh and what size lug wrench? I am assuming not metric.

For short trailers, place 2 jack stands under the "A" frame just forward of the shell. Also place 2 jack stands on the frame just forward of the bumper.

On larger trailers, add 2 more jack stands between the tires.

To "lift" a small trailer, place the jack on the axle mounting plate just rearward of the tire. For tandem trailers, place the jack on the axle mounting plate, between the tires.

I have a little saddle made with a short piece of round tubing welded to the bottom of a short piece of u channel. This gismo fits between the bottle jack and the axle plate Bought it at a Airstream rally years ago and wish I had bought 2. If anybody still makes these it would be good to get one or to have one made up. The axle mounting plate is only a inch or so wide and could easily slip of of the bottle jack.
