IF the hubs have not been changed the rim is a 6" wide by 15" 6 hole pattern by 5 1/2" .. Trailer rated wheels are all that should be used. There is a load rating and also, wheels for trailer service are manufactured to withstand side impact forces. Don't use truck wheels. They are not the same.

Yes and no.

There are a variety of moon hub caps, some that will fit and some that won't.

However, we also have the moons that fit our wheels.

Angry

Well I took the moons off & I am running 6 lug wheels. I also noticed that one of the lug nut shanks is sheered off, so basically I only have 5 lug nuts on a 6 lug wheel! I guess I will have to find somewhere to replace this & get me 6....instead of five.

Another good reason not to have "never lube bearings."

Any good auto parts store will have the correct studs, for your wheel.

Simply pound the old one out, and carefully, pound the new one in.

ANDY or ANyone.....who sells a E rated steel rim that will fit my AS? Because the standard steel rim cannot support anything over 75 psi...correct?

You are correct, regarding the 75 psi.

I have no idea who may sell a wheel that fits your trailer, that has a higher psi rating.

On the other hand, why switch to "E's"? According to a couple of owners, if the (in their opinion) "E's"are better, then they are going to go with "F's".

Since this has recently come up, a couple of telephone inquiries have said, "so what", I'll use them anyway.

"D's" have been great for years. Why the sudden need to change that?? It's a mystery to us.

Because of the extra peace of mind- & when I add up the weight of everything I am pretty close to the limit on my Ds.....so the E's just make sense. But I cannot find a E rated rim...
