I am running 16" Michelin LTX on my 96 30' Excella and was curious to compare them with the new Goodyear Endurance line. Very happy with the performance and handling of the Endurance!

Are your Michelin LTX P type or LT type. There is a serious difference that needs to be taken into consideration what with P type needing to be de rated if used on SUV, truck or trailer.

LTX, rated at 2680 at 80psi. GVWR of my 97 Excella is 8300 pounds, so 4x2680=10720 less 10% derated for the trailer use of the LTX= 9648 pounds. Still lots of margin for running them at slighty lower psi, is so desired

SInce your tires are LR-E they are LT which means you do not have to de-rate them.

Your GVWR might be 8300# but your actual weight could be 7500 to 9500# unless you have calibrated eyes.
At least run across a truck scale and get the total for your trailer axles. Best if you can get individual axle numbers as I have seen 800# difference F to Rear.
