Gd Yr Marathon? Carlisle? Other? For Bambi

Tires for Bambi II in this town are pretty well limited to Marathons, Carlisles and China SOBs in the size I need, 205-75-14. Does anyone recommend either or these or an alternative that I could order. The oem Marathons have never given me any problems... I put about 5,000 miles a year on them, not the mega-miles that seem to lead to the problems other forum members report. I've had only one blowout in 10 years and that was due to horribly broken up pavement in Arkansas. The Bambi II will be used a lot more on back country roads than our FC.

There are many posts on tires. Just do a search and you will get as much reading as you may want. I will not use GYM do to tread seperation. I have Carlisles on my Safari. I can get them in every Discount tire store anywhere in the country. Many have opted for 16" rims and tires. Good luck.
