Free Split-Rims

Hi All,

I have a set of 4 15" split rims (relatively rust free) with tires (old) for the taking if anyone wants them. I figured I offer them up before pitching them, since some people don't mind using them. You have to come and get them, in S.E. Michigan, email or P.M. if interested.

Hello there!

Saw your note and wanted to try to follow up. Still available? If so, is there an immedite need to get them out of your hair ASAP or can I pick them up in a slightly more relaxed time factor....

I ask since I need to take a West Coast trip this fall that will drag me thru or near you.... Consider that and give me a cost idea on the rims.

Then I can plan accordingly and possibly meet som great new AS folks!

Split rims are extremely dangerous to both the user and anyone who would dare to work on them. They have been the source of numerous fatalities.
Simply inflating the tires can cause a split rim to explode. Most tire repair facilities refuse to service them.
They should be scrapped.
