First rotation

I'm guessing my 2012 27FB International now has about 6500 miles. That's a rough guess based on the TV mileage.

I live in the city with no place to work on my trailer combined with recent back surgery I'm having it done at a local tire shop. When I approached the tire shop they said "sure no problem" how do you want them rotated?"

Should I have keep the tires on the same side of the A/S or move them from curb side to drive side and if so also rotate them from to back? My trailer has sealed bearing, other than eyeballing the brakes anything else I should do while there?

Just my opinion, and I'm sure you'll get others, but at 6500 miles, I wouldn't do anything to it. I would wait till about 10K to rotate them, and then I would rotate them front to back, back to front.

Just another opinion....10K is ok, but I prefer a little less...like 7500 miles. Also, just another opinion, as mfrs are silent on the subject, but I rotate rears straight to front and cross fronts to opposite rear sides. This method evens out the normal feathering. BUT, it does require jack stands.

Watch out as to where they place their jacks. Even if they say that they know....most do not.

That is very much on my mind. Reading the manual and some threads here I'm a bit confused about that myself. My plan is to be under the trailer when they place the jack. It's a large well known tire dealer (Les Schwab), when I asked they were happy to do it, have a large lot and told me where to put the trailer later today. When I asked about the jacks they said "no problem" and when I asked the cost it was "no charge" since I've purchased auto tires in the past.
