Different tires

I have a 1997 Bambi single axle trailer. I brought 1 Goodyear Marathon tire to be replaced and when I picked it up they gave me a same size different brand tire. They told me that it woud not be a problem with 2 different tires. Anyone have any experience with different tires on a single axel?

I've not run different tires on a single axle trailer, but I have on a tandem, and it was not an issue.

Ditto, shouldn't be a problem.
