Dealing with the spare.

Got tired of loading the spare in the back of truck anytime we go anywhere and taking up room. Then unload and put in storage building when getting home.
So time to get the torch and welder out and solve the problem.

The OEM spare carrier has always made me a little nervous only having on latch point. Yours has 2!

That was my feeling also so made it with four attachment points. Also used bolts with double nuts all way around instead of pins. May take a few extra minutes to take off but no chance of a pin coming out.

Drill out pin and use a med size paddlock
