changing tires?????

I pulled my tires to repack my wheel bearings and I had a very difficult time trying to put the tires back on the trailer. We have a 2001 Bambi and I had the tires to 60 lbs. pressure. It seems that the wheel well is very tight and when you have to lift the tire and angle it up, there is very little room to work. We live in florida and it was hot so I expect that the tire pressure was more than the cold pressure of 60 pounds. Could this make it so difficult. I finally let about 2o pounds of air out and the tire went in. Has anyone else encounter this challenge? Can anyone give me some advice on making it easier.

thank you'
