This one did A LOT of damage. The entire tread 'belt' stayed fixed at one end, and acted like a whip until I could get to the shoulder...

We do post photo's once in a while.

We do that when it's better than that old 1000 words.

But, if we are visiting our favorite "get away" place, I don't then have the ability to do so, at least until I get back home.

5 failures in 4 years? GYM. Centramatics are not probably not gonna save a defective tire. Hope GYM quality control improves. Nothing wrong with getting the Centramatics also, but I doubt that would have prevented the falure you picture.

BAB,

Where did you buy your 16" rims?

Thanks,

I bought them directly from Tredit in Elkhart, Indiana. Very fast service, arrived in less than a week from the time I ordered them.

Question

Tell me again why I need 16" rims when my 15's are in like new condition, are the proper load rating and are not clear-coated .

Just for the tires?

Bob

The lack of choices in 15" tires is enough to change. So you've the time you want to investigate options. As with the linked tire chart in an above post (conversion from ST to LT). Even 16" tires may be on their way out (in a foreseeable future).
