I put a set on about 4 years ago with the Nev-R-Lub hubs, roughly 30,000 road miles to date, no issues at all. I did have the wheels balanced with new tires 2 years ago and the original wheels were balanced before I put the Centramatics on.

Hi, you won't feel a thing, but your trailer will. Centramatics make up for the factory unbalanced brake drums and some minor un-balance of your wheels. [like a missing weight or a rock collection in your tread] Still continue to have your tires/wheels balanced as normal.

I feel something, alright!
Spending money hurts!
Sendel T03 wheels on the way
Getting 16" LT tires next week-
Lug nuts on the way-
Centramatic balancers on the way-
Dill TPMS on the way-
Maybe it will all be installed by Labor Day camping trip-
If not, one last ride for the Goodyear Puff-up-athons.

But, let it hurt.

Because if you don't, you will leave it to your kids, who will hurt, most likely worse than you.

Also, blue 9x12 patio rug on the way-
What's another $55.12 to the $1,800 already spent on wheels and tires?
Hopefully all will be in and installed by camping Labor Day weekend, but may have one last ride on the Goodyear Puff-up-athons-

If you were willing to spend that much to feel better, you'll find the decrease in anxiety to be well worth it. Enjoy your new toys.

Thank you!
The peace of mind is amazing!
Maybe in about 5 years I can get a 16" spare and disc brakes. Although the drum brakes perform well, I think the stopping distance may be shorter with disc brakes.

Some of this stuff would be on the floor before Centramatic balancers.

Stopping distance is indeed shorter with disc brakes.

Also, they don't "fade" like drum brakes.

Glad that many auto manufacturers have switched to them.

An added plus, is that the pads are cheaper to replace than shoes.

In fact today, it's almost cheaper (except for a very few dollars) to replace a complete backing plate, instead of just the shoes, and then you could also upgrade by using "self adjusting" electric brakes.

Ah yes, technology is on a good roll these recent days.

Just got back from trip #3 with 16" wheels/tires/Centramatic balancers/Dill TPMS-
I'm almost giddy while towing at 65 mph and feeling totally confident and safe.
The constant reading of air pressure and tire temperature is great.
Nothing like the peace of mind/comfort from towing a very well dialed-in rig.
People ask, "What kind of truck you pulln' that with? Is that enough truck? How does it do?"
Peace of cake! Walk in the park!
