After finding out that my original Carlisle ST tires were speed rated 62 mph and pressure rating of 34 psi, I purchase Carlisle Sport Track LH tires (Higher pressure rating and speed rating). I also purchased new rims for them to be mounted on. I was surprised when I picked up the mounted tire that all had a lot of weights but one had as much as 6 oz on one side and the other side opposed to the 6 oz was almost 6 oz more in weights. I was surprise that they would install this much balancing weights or that this much weight would be required to balance.
The tire or rim are very far out of balance. The offset to that would have been to deflate the tire and move the tire on the rim 90 degrees or 180 degrees. This would have been a better fix.

Like a lot of modern companies, Carlisle has been bumped around a bit. It's not at all clear where each of modern product lines come from. I'd say that yours did not come from the best of the best of the best ....
