Bias vs Radials, blowout, damage to trailer

I would just like to know what tire causes the least amount of damage to the trailer when you have a blowout.
For this thread I am not concerned about handling, ride or any other issues.

If I remember correctly with Bias ply you could run them until the belts shown through and if you did have a blowout they just go flat.
All the radials I have ever had blowouts with seem to shred into pieces.

Steel belted radials would cause the most damage. The steel belts act like giant weed eater strings flailing around shredding anything in their path.
