I have been using Good Year Marathon tires on my Overlander (26') for the past eight years, and am totally pleased with their performance. I believe that the size is P225 75 R15 - ST (Load Range D) - - at full inflation, four tires are rated in excess of 8,000 pounds capacity.
I have been so well pleased with the performance of the Good Year Marathons on my Overlander that I also purchased a pair for my recently acquired '78 Argosy Minuet. I believe that the tire size on the Minuet is P225 75 R15 - ST (Load Range C).
Good luck with your decision.

The load range decision was based upon carrying capacity needed for each coach. The Minuet is a single axle with a GVWR of 3,500 pounds, and the load range C tires were able to provide 120%+ of that capacity and were chosen for that reason. My Overlander weighs around 6,000 pounds when fully loaded, and the load range D tires on tandem axles provided 120%+ of that capacity and were chosen for that reason. New rims were part of the package with the Overlander, but the Minuet still has its factory styled steel wheels.
I was taught many years ago to always go for extra capacity in tires when possible so that there is at least a 20% over-capacity factor. I guess that is another reason that I always order the largest factory offered tires on my vehicles, and then often go up one size when replacing the tires - - not as frequently with the new p-metric tires; but was always the case in the days of the alpha-numeric tires.

My current set of Load Range D Marathons were put on after the recall was announced, and my dealer assured me that they were post-recall tires. I keep telling myself that I must double-check them, but haven't as yet. I have a high degree of confidence in my Good Year dealer as I have been doing business with him for more than 20 years - - in fact, I recently asked him to inspect the tires he sold me two years ago for my Suburban fully expecting to be advised to purchase new tires when his recommendation was to keep the current tires as they had enough tread for another 15,000 to 25,000 miles (the tires already have in excess of 53,000 miles of travel).

I remember a thread(unable to locate) that talked about the Goodyear Marathon Recall.
If I remember correctly, the load "c" was the tire being recalled and it use replaced with the load "d" with an "s" within a circle after the word "radial".
Do any of you remember this, as I don't want to give bad infor out.
When I went to buy new tires for my trailer(I had load "c"), I was told by the Goodyear tire center that they now only sell these in load "d".
