I use Discount tire for most of my fleet. There is Costco, Sams, Big O and the rest. Who are you using?

I would strongly recommend tire covers. I have tire covers on both of my trailers and on a couple of my drivers that I don't use on a daily basis. These covers will buy you a couple of extra years in service. Also keep the inflation up on a regular basis.

Hey Action,
Where did you get your tire covers? I will be storing the MH in one of the outside storage lots here in Phoenix. I think there is one at I17 and Pinnacle Peak that is not too bad in fees.

Where are you in Phoenix?

Karen

I live in the Arcadia area near the Scottsdale border.

I bought my covers on Ebay. My boat trailer has had covers for the longest time about 4 years. The bullet and my TV have had covers for about 3 years. I do not drive my TV much so the tires get hit on one side real bad. The other side is shaded from the sun via a very large tree. I notice the difference the most on my TV. It doesn't take much to block the sun's effect. Covers wern't much in costabout $25 for my tire size. And prior to that I was using some old material.

Don't forget to cover the spare. If it hangs on the outside it likely gets hit the hardest. The spare on my TV hangs off the back. After 3 years uncovered it was toast! And I had never used it.

We are on McCormick Ranch. Hoping to move near the Old Town area next spring. Our store is on Stetson Dr. Scottsdale Pen - The Source for fine pens in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson, & Arizona.

Spare is covered on the MH. The 345 has a built in cover for that.

When storing your MoHo, keep a 12V tire pump inside. So when you get ready to move it the tires can be filled and you are not driving on low tires.

I am assuming the storage lot will be uncovered. So shades for all of the windows and tire covers are needed to keep the sun damage at bay from the interior. If it will be stored for long periods with out permanent overhead cover you might consider a total RV cover. My neighbor has a 27' MoHo and it is a PITA to install it, however at least that kind of cover will keep the damge down that is seen in your pics.

If you need help with the move I am in the biz.

A buddy of mine bought me a Retro 51 at your store as a gift for me. I will have to swing by some time.
